Location.Forming part of a grand 14th century terrace, Altstadthotel Kasererbraeu is a family run hotel, centrally located just 300 metres from Salzburg Cathedral and 600 from Mozart's Birthplace. Salzburg International Airport is just 15 kilometres away, a 15 minute drive.
Hotel Features.Altstadthotel Kasererbraeu offers a rather grand Turkish bath style spa area, with curving walls and ceilings. Indulge yourself with a sauna or Roman steam bath, or take a refreshing shower beneath the ornate waterfall. A range of Ayurvedic massages and treatments utilise various herb oils for 'vitality and stimulation of the senses'. Practical amenities include 24 hour front desk with safe deposit box, and a library.
Guestrooms. The 43 guestrooms, over five floors, are individually and traditionally decorated and furnished with antiques. All include cable television, clock radios, desks, direct dial phones, Internet connections and hair dryers.

Getting there.By far the easiest way to get to the Altstadthotel Kasererbraeu is by taxi, costing around 15 EUR. The historic city of Salzburg is easily explored on foot.
Driving directions. From the airport take the highway for Munich/Villeche. Keep to the right and exit at Salzburg Sud. Take the left fork into the city centre. Go straight over the first roundabout and enter Kaigasse (do not cross the bridge).
