Sofitel Vienna is a modern, seven storey hotel situated in the historic city centre of Vienna, opposite the concert hall and the Akademie Theatre. The 211 guestrooms are defined by Art Nouveau style decor with colourful furnishings and framed artworks. Taxis are available from the airport; a typical taxi fare to the hotel is approximately 35 EUR. Alternatively, take the CAT (City Airport Train) to City Air Terminal 'Wien Mitte', then take the U4 subway train towards Hutteldorf and alight at Stadtpark station. Vienna has a comprehensive tram, bus, U Bahn and S Bahn network; Stadtpark U Bahn station is 500 metres from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport, take highway A4 and exit at Zentrum. Continue along the Danube channel and turn left into the Ring. Continue until Schwarzenbergplatz then turn left and cross the square. Upon reaching the fountain, cross the rail tracks and turn left into Heumarkt.
