Nestled on 850 acres of lush fairways, green meadows and sparkling lakes, the newly renovated Quail Lodge resort near Carmel, Calif., offers resort accommodations for nature enthusiasts. Located five miles from Monterey Peninsula Airport, guests will feel a million miles away as they stroll the 6500 yard champion golf course. After 18 holes, guests of the Quail Lodge will want to retire to the clubhouse for a drink at the patio bar. Golfers missing that crucial club might find it in the pro shop, recognized as one of the top retail golf shops in the country. And a bite at Edgar's might be in order, with American cuisine served in relaxed "19th hole" atmosphere. The Covey restaurant features the fresh ingredients from local farmers and fishermen complimented by an award winning wine list.
With three tennis courts, Quail Lodge gives guests unlimited play from dawn to dusk. In addition, guest can enjoy bocce courses, outdoor pool, indoor lap pool, and whirlpool spa. Hiking, biking and horse riding trails allow guests time to appreciate the beauty of the Santa Lucia Mountains.
Guests can nourish body, mind and spirit at The Wellness Center at Quail Lodge. Personal trainers and fitness classes work the body. Yoga and meditation calm the mind, while the atmosphere sooths the spirit. Complete relaxation is found at the Spa. Treatments in the relaxation room, gardens or poolside suites melt stresses of the outside world, and services at the salon prepare guests to re enter it.
Guestrooms at Quail Lodge reflect the natural surroundings, featuring warm earth tones and natural light d�cor. Vaulted ceilings, complimentary refreshment centers, patio or balconies and plasma televisions provide guests with the comforts they deserve. Some suites offer separate sitting areas and fireplaces.
