Location. The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel is located in Dana Point, Calif., overlooking a scenic stretch of the Pacific Ocean with Catalina Island in the distance. The hotel stands 150 feet above the ocean surf and sits adjacent to the Monarch Beach Golf Links. Dana Point Harbor is less than one mile away. Magnolia Square's various boutiques are less than four miles from the property.
Hotel Features. The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel features polished marble floors, grand floral arrangements and a silver leaf ceiling dome in the lobby. Named for its location above sea level, Restaurant 162' serves a variety of fresh fish and other seafood. Eno is a tasting room that showcases wine, chocolate and cheese and features more than 500 labels and 50 wines by the glass. Various cocktails and light cuisine are available in The Bar and Dana Pool Bar. The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel provides an on site health spa with saunas, steam rooms and massage services, specialized body treatments and facials. Two outdoor freeform pools and adjoining spa tubs are located in garden areas located around both hotel wings. The fitness facility features ocean views and includes cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Guestrooms. The 393 guestrooms at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel showcase vivid artwork and fresh flowers. Expert Tip. California grey whales annually migrate between January and April. Their path takes them past the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel where guests can easily view the migration.
